  3.                       Become a shipboard host

  5.                If you are male, gregarious, hospitable, and
  6.           relatively good looking, you can be paid to travel
  7.           on board a luxury cruise ship. That's right, not
  8.           only will the cruise itself be entirely free, but
  9.           you will be paid a salary in addition.
  10.                In return, you simply must agree to act as
  11.           companion to those ladies on board the cruise who
  12.           find themselves without partners when it comes time
  13.           for dinner and dancing.
  14.                More and more women are taking cruises alone.
  15.           But that doesn't mean they want to eat alone...or
  16.           sit alone while everyone else is dancing the
  17.           samba...or wander alone in each exotic port of
  18.           call. The cruise line wants to ensure that these
  19.           women have a good time (and that they return for a
  20.           second or third cruise), so they arrange for
  21.           debonair and polished older gentlemen to join the
  22.           cruise and act as hosts.
  23.                Most of the men are retired military officers,
  24.           executives, and professional men. In return for
  25.           treating their female companions to a few rounds of
  26.           drinks at the pool and engaging in lively
  27.           conversation over dinner, they are given free
  28.           round-trip transportation to the port of departure,
  29.           a completely free cruise (including food and
  30.           drink), and a sizeable salary.
  31.                The two cruise lines that employ the greatest
  32.           number of male shipboard companions are Cunard
  33.           Lines, 555 Fifth Ave., New York, NY 10017, and
  34.           Royal Cruise Lines, One Maritime Plaza, Suite 1400,
